The Executive Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, recalled this Sunday the 12th anniversary of Commander Hugo Chávez's Coup de Timón, where she strategically guided the work that the Bolivarian Government should follow to consolidate a new model of State, with true leading participation of the People.
“Today we commemorate 12 years of the Timon Coup of our Supreme Commander Hugo Chávez, a profound reflection full of lessons, teachings and strategic guidelines that today continues to call on us to deepen participatory and leading democracy together with the Venezuelan
people and the People's Power,” Rodríguez said through his Telegram channel.
He stressed that, with the help of President Nicolás Maduro, “we continue to strengthen their guidelines of that day, consolidating a new model of State where the participation of organized people is its backbone for the future of well-being, growth and prosperity of all of Venezuela.”
On October 20, 2012, that Timon Coup pronounced by Commander Chávez, during a Council of Ministers on a national channel, through a profound message, called for major transformations emanating from his Homeland Plan, which traced the course of the revolutionary and socialist process.
