This Tuesday, the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, during the commemorative ceremony for the 194th anniversary of the planting of the Liberator Simon Bolivar, said that it is a deep pride to be the daughter of the Father of the Fatherland.
Rodríguez stressed that “politically, he was profoundly anti-imperialist; socially, his legacy as a model today nourishes our Constitution, a model that provides social happiness through justice and equality.”
“A military doctrine for our soldiers, free, patriotic and sovereign, a Bolivarian National Armed Force (FANB) built on the legacy of Bolivar. Men and women of greatness and high morals. We are giants in the face of the tasks that the Fatherland requires of us,” he added.
In addition, the vice-president stressed that the social model carried out by the government of President Nicolás Maduro is focused on the great social benefit for the population within the framework of freedom.
“Bolivar always thought in terms of universes, that's why he came to Peru to seal independence. He always thought of the Latin American union. Those who are children of his sword of freedom and have become vassals of his executioners know that they are betraying Bolivar, the union of the Peoples, and they know that they are at the service of the hegemonic powers of Washington,” he added.
In this regard, Rodríguez recalled that today the Government of Canada sanctioned officials of the national government, because “it is a government that does not walk but crawls on its elbows and pays tribute to those who humiliate them, make a circus in the face of their oppressors. We will be concerned with freedom and independence. We are Bolivar in living history. May that title lead us to independence and national dignity.”
