The Executive Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, commemorated the 83rd anniversary of the birth of her father, the socialist leader Jorge Antonio Rodríguez.
“May all the beautifully colored flowers shine on this 83rd anniversary of our father Jorge Rodríguez,” Rodríguez said on his Telegram channel.
He described his father as an infinite patriot out of socialist conviction who offered his life “for the construction of a just society for the humblest and for a sovereign Venezuela, never subject to rude empires.”
On February 16, 1942, the socialist leader Jorge Rodríguez was born in Carora, Lara state. He is remembered for his struggle and passion for life, but above all for his revolutionary transformation.
