The process of dialogue being experienced in Venezuela is very serious, requiring a lot of knowledge and distance from “neophyte” political spaces, said the President of the Republic Delcy Rodríguez.
“The process of dialogue that is taking place in Venezuela is something very serious. I say that it is something that requires a lot of experience away from neophyte spaces. Venezuela requires a lot of knowledge to overcome problems,” said the President when asked about the possibility of María Corina Machado joining this process.
In this regard, he recalled that the dialogue that is progressing with representatives of the extinct National Assembly in 2015 in the search for agreements in favor of achieving political and judicial reforms, and also in the recovery of Venezuela's assets abroad, puts them at the service of national development.
“I hope that dialogue will continue to be a space for political participation, that those who have done harm to Venezuela, that those who called for sanctions, external aggressions, have some remorse and regret, and that the space will serve both for dialogue and for the program of democratic coexistence and peace so that all voices can be heard, the voices of good can be heard and that the experience of Venezuelans and Venezuelan women is at the service of the people, because ultimately, this country is much bigger than any person one or two or three people,” he said.
In the same way, the President pointed out that after the bombing, the military aggression of last January 3, a new spirituality needs to emerge in Venezuela. “I want from Venezuela in that new spirituality,” he emphasized.
