Delcy Rodríguez: Comprehensive recovery of the Caracas Metro is progressing for the well-being of the People

“Faced with the criminal imperial blockade that attacked the Venezuelan people and public services, here is the answer given by Venezuela as a whole, with its own efforts to achieve strategic objectives in the care of Venezuelans,” said the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez.
The approach was made during the inspection carried out at the workshops of the La Paz Station of the Caracas Metro, together with the Minister of Popular Power for Transportation, Ramón Velásquez Araguayán, of the execution of the second phase of the Metro Move With You Plan.
He pointed out that they are still working in the aforementioned phase with the comprehensive recovery of the system for the welfare of the People and also on the comprehensive care of the workers of the Caracas Metro.
“If this Plan El Metro Moves With You demonstrates anything, it's that the criminal blockade has failed against the people. We have recovered station by station, the mechanical parts, the elevators, the stairs, the entire infrastructure, and now we are repowering the trains to serve citizens,” he emphasized.
Rodríguez requested the collaboration of users to take care of these works and do their bit, individually and collectively, in citizen evaluation to maintain the daily cleanliness and maintenance of the facilities and commercial service.
For his part, Minister Velásquez Araguayán, thanked the presence of the godmother of the Metro, appointed by the head of state, to take care of all the details of this great recovery and is awaiting progress in the work.
He said that part of the strengthening is thanks to the training of the technical staff, to take the leap of transforming the entire railway system and having the subway 100% recovered.
“It is the working mass of the Metro that carries on and gives everything for everything to achieve a 100% recovery and provide a quality, efficient and economic service,” he said.
