Death toll from landslides rose to 146 in Ethiopia

The Government of Ethiopia reported that the death toll from landslides caused by rains in the African country rose to 146.
In a statement, the Department of Communication of the Regional Government of Gofa specified that 96 men and 50 women have died.
In this regard, he specified that the landslide occurred this Monday in the district of Geze Gofa at 10:00 in the morning local time.
According to the Xinhua website, local officials indicated that the death toll could increase as rescue efforts progress.
