Cultori de Mérida received Order of September 16 for their careers

On the occasion of the 214th anniversary of the
independence of the province of Mérida, the governor of the entity, Jehyson
Guzmán, took the opportunity to honor the trajectory of the region's
cultors with the delivery of the Order of September 16.
According to information from Venezolana de
Televisión, during the event held in the Hall of the People's
Government, the president of the Foundation for Cultural Development of the
State of Mérida (FUNDECEM), Enrique Plata Ramírez, received the second
class of this award, in recognition of his work aimed at consolidating a cultural transformation.
Likewise, the writer from Mérida, Yohana
Lobo, who lives in the state of Yaracuy, received a distinction in the same
Order, after being awarded the National Prize for Solar Literature in the mention of poetry.
It is important to note that the agenda for the celebration of the 214th Anniversary of the Independence of the province of Mérida began with a floral offering in Parque de las Banderas, and closed with a civic-military parade next to the communal police on Avenida 16 de Septembre.
