Cuba stands in solidarity with Venezuela in the face of US sanctions against officials

The Bolivarian People and Government, representing the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, send their sincerest thanks to the Foreign Minister of Cuba, Bruno Rodríguez, for his strong support for Venezuelan sovereignty, following the recent attacks by the United States government against a group of Venezuelan officials, after the imposition of new sanctions.

The information was released by the Foreign Minister of the Republic, Yván Gil, through his Telegram channel, who thanked Cuba for its solidarity with the Venezuelan People and Government.

“We deeply appreciate your rejection of these new aggressions in the form of illegal coercive measures directed against our officials, who are dedicated to defending and protecting the peace and stability of our nation,” Gil said.

The Cuban Foreign Minister, Bruno Rodríguez, expressed his rejection on his account on the social network X, “we reject the new unilateral coercive measures imposed by the U.S. government against public officials in # Venezuela”.

“We reiterate the support and solidarity of # Cuba with the Bolivarian and Chavista Revolution, led by President Nicolás Maduro,” he stressed.
