Cuba: 1,943 aftershocks have been recorded from the earthquake in Pilón

In Cuba, 1,943 aftershocks have been recorded after the earthquake that occurred in the eastern part of the island on November 10 with an epicenter in Pilón, in the province of Granma.
The authorities of the National Seismological Service specified that of them, 63 were perceptible, although they insisted that this situation was normal after a major earthquake.
On the other hand, officials of the National Seismological Service have reported that the rumor about an alleged earthquake that will occur in Pilón is totally false.
“Any earthquake alert situation, our center and the State authorities, including the Civil Defense, are responsible for informing the population.”
Previously, an earthquake with a magnitude of 6.0 was recorded. Both movements recorded in southeastern Cuba caused seven injuries, 26 total collapses of buildings, including homes and public establishments, and damage to more than 2,250 homes.
