The Dialogue Table between the National Government and former deputies of the National Assembly 2015 announced the formal installation of the Council for the Review of Credentials and Requirements of Applicants to the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ), the General Inspectorate of Courts and the National School of the Judiciary.

The information was published through his Telegram channel by the president of the National Assembly (AN), Jorge Rodríguez, who explained that this technical advisory body was agreed in the second cycle of talks.

According to the statement, the Council aims to verify that applicants strictly comply with the formal requirements established in the Constitution, the Organic Law of the Supreme Court and the evaluation scale. This body is composed of seven jurists with extensive experience.

The delegations appreciated the participation of the experts who make up the Council, with the certainty that their dedication will reinforce the work already being carried out by the Judicial Nominations Committee, constitutionally elected by the national Parliament.
