The historical memory and traditions of Los Teques are represented in an artisanal exhibition installed in the Benito Chapellín Room of the Cecilio Acosta Public Library, in Miranda state, through small pieces made by the local culturist Leticia Pérez.

According to information from Venezolana de Televisión, the collection brings together figures created with mixed techniques and materials such as textiles, paper, wire and cardboard, organized in three thematic axes: folkloric events, protagonists of the independence movement and characters from the daily life of the town.

The pieces include representations of the Dancing Devils of Yare, the dance of the Burriquita and the Windward Drums, together with historical figures and references of the Mirandino cultural heritage.

The exhibition also includes the Los Teques photographic and illustrative gallery, which covers historical episodes, heritage architecture and emblematic spaces in the central part of the city.

The initiative is promoted by the Miranda State Autonomous Institute of Library and Information Services (IABIM) and the regional Secretariat of Culture, which invite students, researchers, families and visitors to visit the exhibition at the Cecilio Acosta Public Library.
