Venezuela's Salomón Rondón scored three goals to command Pachuca's 0-5 win over Herediano from Costa Rica in the first leg of the CONCACAF Champions Cup quarter-finals.

The Venezuelan started, was on the court until the 79th minute and scored 3, 16 and 68 minutes during his visit to Costa Rica.

With that trio of goals, Vinotinto has six goals in this tournament, being the top scorer in the tournament.

Rondón has 13 goals, 3 assists, in 16 games played since his arrival in Pachuca, including two hat-tricks and a double, and is currently the top scorer in both Liga MX and CONCACAF.
