Court sentences accomplices to the murder of Canserbero between 15 and 20 years in prison

The Public Ministry (MP) reported that Gilbert Cruz, Edgar Trillo, Teresa Pinto, Solangela Mendoza and Marcos Pratolongo were sentenced to 15 to 20 years in prison , responsible for the crime of complicity in the murder of singer-songwriter Tirone González, better known as Canserbero.

The decision was taken by the 11th Trial Court of the Criminal Judicial Circuit of the Metropolitan Area of Caracas, after the presentation of more than 150 steps and expertise carried out by MP laboratories.

In this regard, it became known that Gilbert Cruz, Edgar Trillo and Teresa Pinto, for the crimes of Obstruction of the Administration of Justice and Criminal Association, Simulation of a Punishable Act and Aggravated Own Corruption, were sentenced to 17 years and four months in prison.

Meanwhile, Solangela Mendoza was sentenced to 15 years and six months in prison for the crimes of obstruction of the administration of justice, criminal conspiracy, terrorist financing and cover-up; Marcos Pratolongo received 20 years and six months in prison for the crimes of international homicide described as malevolence, for futile motive capable of unnecessary accomplice, simulation of a punishable act, obstruction of the administration of justice, association for crime and the financing of terrorism.

These judgments are in addition to the previous convictions carried out against the material and intellectual authors, the Améstica brothers.
