During the meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Bolivarian Government, the advances of the Fifth Transformation (Q5), focused on consolidating direct democracy with republican ethics, were discussed. This process is part of the Plan of the Homeland of the Seven Transformations (7T), which seeks to deepen the repoliticization and modernization of the political system for the benefit of the Venezuelan people.

Speaking to Venezolana de Televisión, the Sectorial Vice President of Communication and Culture, Freddy Ñáñez, provided an assessment of the meeting led by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, at the Miraflores Palace, and stressed that political transformation was one of the central issues.

“Ministerial programs and strategies were reviewed with the objective of strengthening public administration and moving towards a model of self-government that responds to the needs of communities,” he said.

During the meeting, the possibility of converting the Plan of the Seven Transformations (7T) into an Organic Law was discussed.

At this point, Ñáñez stressed that this step will ensure the continuity of public policies aimed at the integral development of the country, against the international sanctions faced by Venezuela.

Also, the plans of the missions and major missions were evaluated, and their impact and quality were analyzed, “the Bolivarian Government maintains a dynamic and participatory approach, constantly working with the communes and the organized people to optimize public management.”

“We are in a work of creation, of fusion, as President Maduro mentioned, that in a true revolution, work and management must be reviewed. We are in the dynamic quality process, analyzing the plans; we are in a constant debate with the Venezuelan people in each commune, where we carry out a lot of analysis, debates and, despite the sanctions, the Cabinet has not stopped working and we are going to move forward,” he said.

In the Council of Ministers, the commitment to strategic planning and policy implementation, to working together between State institutions and communities, in order to build a future of well-being for all Venezuelans, was reaffirmed.
