Through the Corporation for the Development of the Zulian Region (CORPOZULIA), the Bolivarian Government initiated the entity's General Plan for Waterproofing Health Centers, with the delivery of materials to carry out the work, in the first phase, in 40 health care facilities belonging to Barrio Adentro.

These are Comprehensive Health Centers (CDI), Integral Rehabilitation Rooms (SRI) and High Technology Centers (CAT), for which more than 820 materials were delivered that will serve to waterproof 49,500 square meters of roof. According to a press release from the institution, the activity was led by the president of CORPOZULIA, Néstor Reverol, who stated that the Zulian entity has 64 CDI, of which 15 have been recovered to date, in addition to 15 SRI and two CATs. The total number of diagnostic centers recovered is expected by the end of 2024 as part of the rehabilitation plan.

Reverol highlighted that the work is carried out together with 2,500 men who are deployed through the Military Community Brigades (BRICOMILES) and the Popular Power of the parishes, with the mission of continuing to guarantee social welfare and quality primary care for Zulians.

The president of CORPOZULIA took the opportunity to report that BRICOMILES are also active in the recovery of 97 schools.

He also highlighted attention through the Agricultural Road Plan, which has enabled more than 600 kilometers of road, the placement of more than 62,000 tons of asphalt on state roads and the rehabilitation of the G/J Rafael Urdaneta Bridge, known as the Bridge Over Lake Maracaibo.
