Workers from the National Electric Corporation (CORPOELEC) carried out weed clearing work in the main electricity distribution networks in the municipalities: Miranda, Colina, Carirubana, Zamora and Los Taques in the state of Falcón.
The crews pruned trees, in addition to cleaning and collecting plant waste, as part of preventive actions, in order to avoid contact with electrical structures that could interrupt the service.
The deployment covered 16 distribution circuits, including: Barranca, La Sierra, San José, Independencia, CoroMall, Amparo, Mataruca, Cumarebo, La Sabanita, Jadacaquiva, El Taparo and Los Taques.
In addition, the removal of plant material was extended to line corridors, poles and junctions, reinforcing the distribution of electricity supply along the Oriente, Sierra de Falcón and Paraguana Peninsula axes of the Falconian jurisdiction.
