The workforce of the National Electric Corporation (CORPOELEC) replaced and recovered more than 300 luminaires with LED technology along Bolívar Avenue in Caracas.
This work is part of the Scheduled Public Lighting Maintenance Plan implemented by CORPOELEC in the capital's road arteries, framed in the Venezuela Renace Plan.
The actions included the replacement of damaged luminaires with high-efficiency equipment of 300 W for traffic flow and 200 W for pedestrian crossings.
In addition, the crews carried out complementary work to control vegetation, reconnecting wiring in poles, cleaning lines and general maintenance of the system.
The deployment involved the participation of more than 30 workers from the technical and operational areas belonging to the Santa Rosa, Chacao and La Yaguara Service Centers, organized into a single team to ensure the effectiveness of the maneuvers.
Eduardo Tirado, captain of the crew of the Chacao Service Center, stressed that with this comprehensive care plan we ensure night visibility and improve road safety for drivers, bystanders and visitors who travel daily through this central capital artery.
With these planned actions, CORPOELEC maintains the continuous deployment of its field equipment for the optimization of the public lighting system in Greater Caracas.
