The workforce of the National Electric Corporation (CORPOELEC) carried out preventive and corrective maintenance tasks at the Tigre I and II substations, located in the Simón Rodríguez municipality in the south of the state of Anzoátegui.

In the morning hours and without affecting the electrical service, personnel from the transmission area performed annual maintenance on the M105 switch and the M103 and M104 disconnectors, in addition to thermal gradient correction on the wave trap connector in phase B, at the Tigre I substation.

In the afternoon, maintenance was carried out on the 115/13.8 kV transformer No. 2 and the equipment installed in the main bar section 2 in the Tigre II substation. These tasks for worker safety required the interruption of service in the Matadero, Intercommunal Sur, Ciudad Tablita and 21 Sur circuits.

These facilities supply electricity to more than 200,000 users in the city of El Tigre in the Anzoatigua state.
