The National Electric Corporation (CORPOELEC) in Anzoátegui carried out extensive preventive and corrective maintenance at the Boca de Uchire and Tapas Corona substations, located in the municipalities of San Juan de Capistrano and Simón Bolívar, respectively to serve about 27,000 users.

Specialized Maintenance personnel installed control units at the Boca de Uchire substation, to perform better and more precise maneuvers when operating the system during maintenance and contingencies.

At the same time, at the Tapas Corona substation, oil leak from the transformer was corrected, adjustments were made to the Villas Olímpicos and Mayorquin circuits; likewise, the cooling system was optimized with the installation of two motor-fans.

The operational tasks respond both to the planning contemplated in the Substation Maintenance Plan and to the timely care of electrical equipment, to maintain the operability and operation of the system.
