CORPOELEC announces partial closure of road between Anzoátegui and Monagas for the transfer of autotransformer

The Popular Ministry for Electric Energy informs all drivers and users of the national road that connects the states of Anzoátegui and Monagas, that this Tuesday, October 6, the National Electric Corporation (CORPOELEC) will carry out the transfer of a power autotransformer to the El Furrial substation, located in the municipality of Santa Bárbara, Monagas state.

Due to the dimensions and weight of this important equipment, a road protocol will be deployed for traffic in the stretch from km 52 to complete the scheduled route through the western part of the Monaguense territory.

During this transfer, for the safety of the equipment along the route, it will be necessary to carry out short-term partial closures on this road artery.

Drivers are encouraged to take appropriate precautions and to follow the instructions of the escort units, in order to preserve road safety.

CORPOELEC is grateful for the understanding of the Venezuelan people during the development of this transfer.
