CORPOELEC activated Plan Cayapa in Anzoátegui to deal with breakdowns

The National Electricity Corporation (CORPOELEC) deployed a Cayapa Plan in the northern part of the state of Anzoátegui for comprehensive care of faults and reports of service failures, in the cities of Barcelona, Lechería, Puerto La Cruz and Guanta.
For the execution of this plan, the state power company activated 9 crews with specialized technical personnel who intervened the medium and low voltage networks of the urban axis in the repair of lines, according to a press release from CORPOELEC.
In addition, damaged components were replaced, preventive maintenance was carried out and faults affecting the continuity of electrical service in residential and commercial sectors were corrected.
The day mobilized personnel from areas such as maintenance and breakdowns, establishing several work teams per municipality, which allowed 90 repairs to be carried out simultaneously in various parts of these cities.
