The Venezuelan Consortium of Aeronautical Industries and Air Services S.A. (CONVIASA) was recognized by Vnukovo International Airport as the longest-range airline, operating regular flights to and from the Russian Federation.

This was announced by the president of Venezuela's flag carrier, Ramón Velásquez Araguayán, through a message posted at his home on Social X Network.

Velásquez highlighted that the professionalism, responsibility and technical training of its pilots and crew members during 2023 were exalted after accounting for a total of “104 flights in a safe and efficient manner, with the transfer of passengers. Union between sister peoples!”.
