The deputy to the National Assembly (AN), María León, emphasized this Friday that with the swearing in of President Nicolás Maduro, the will of the People was ratified and once again, this People gave birth to imperialism and its lackeys.

“We have given birth to the North American empire, they have intensified its evil against the people of Venezuela and they said that Maduro was not sworn in. Thank God for allowing imperialism and the creeping Venezuelan oligarchy to be dealt a mortal blow,” he emphasized during the Act of Recognition and Reaffirmation of Loyalty to President Nicolás Maduro.

He recalled that for years the oligarchy stole the wealth of the people and it was Commander Hugo Chávez, who arrived and stopped him. “He said to them: Enough (...). Therefore, as my People dictate: They will not return!”

At the same time, he recognized the soldiers of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB). “They have nothing to envy the army that Simón Bolívar commanded because now Venezuela is leading the fight not only for the continent but for humanity (...) Thanks to the Armed Forces forged in the Bolivarian and Chavista spirit,” he said.

It was up to the deputy to the AN to read the Manifesto of swearing in by Popular Forces and Social Movements in recognition and reaffirmation of loyalty to President Nicolás Maduro, in which they reaffirm their commitment to the defense of the Bolivarian Revolution, the sovereignty of the Fatherland and the unity of the People.

“For now and forever, we dedicate our lives to the defense of our insurgent history and to the construction of the Bolivarian project. This oath is a manifestation of the sacred will that surrounds us, we are the People's Power raising our voices like a manifesto and telling the world that our Homeland and sovereignty reside non-transferably in the People and that today as yesterday we have been able to put our chest, conscience and spirit to defend the most sacred thing we have achieved, which is our independence. What we are is spreading around the world and we have enemies who seek, with lies and criminal sanctions, to undermine the foundations of our Republic and attack our homeland,” León read.
