The deputy to the National Assembly (AN), Grecia Colmenares, highlighted the extensive mobilization of women in the electoral centers of the Second National Popular Consultation, a day that takes place with high citizen participation from an early age throughout the territory.
The parliamentarian, who monitors the process in Caracas and the rest of the country, extended an invitation to young people over 15 to come and vote. “We want to invite all those young people to come to their nearest electoral center and vote for one of the seven projects that we have planned in each of the communes and communal circuits,” he said.
Colmenares stressed that this day represents a direct opportunity for citizens to meet the needs of their sectors. “It's a huge opportunity that we can't miss because it's for the well-being of our own community; today we're voting for the benefit of the community,” he said.
Finally, the deputy linked the choice of these local projects to the future of the country. “We decided from the smallest to the largest, which is the destiny of our country, and the destiny of our country begins with each of our houses, with each of our homes,” he concluded.
