Conflicts between puppet and ventriloquist! María Corina and Edmundo more divided than ever

The question we serious Venezuelans ask ourselves is: What is going on between the puppet and its ventriloquist?

For decades, the simile of the “cat bag” has been used to describe the situation of the Venezuelan opposition with regard to the unity of its ranks in favor of an objective.

We are in 2024 and that metaphor is still more relevant than ever. After the elections of July 28, when Nicolás Maduro was re-elected president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, declared by the National Electoral Council (CNE) and ratified by the Electoral Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ); Edmundo González and his partner and boss, María Corina Machado, committed crimes such as calling for violence in the street, organizing the structure of these violence and the usurpation of the functions of the CNE, due to the publication of a website where falsified records were posted, among others.

González Urrutia was the candidate with a dark and bloody international past and responsible in the eyes of the world for these actions, but since he did not appear before the Public Prosecutor's Office, he wanted to apologize through a letter. Its mere existence and its recipient recognize the existence of the Venezuelan State and its powers.

This is a point of contradiction with his superior, MCM, who still does not recognize the Public Ministry (MP) himself: “This Office is an arm of persecution and State terrorism in Venezuela; the appointment and performance of its spokesperson is not only illegitimate, it is a shame that history will judge.”

In fact, during a press conference with national and international media, this Thursday, the attorney general of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Tarek William Saab, revealed that the defense of Edmundo González Urrutia assured that people outside the legal team did not allow the former extremist candidate to attend the three summons of the MP, derived from investigations into the fraudulent website, promoted by the terrorist María Corina Machado to sing fraud.

The prosecutor added that González Urrutia, in addition, wanted to appear before the Supreme Court to settle matters concerning the electoral dispute, but “they didn't let him, he is under great pressure.”

While the former candidate seeks to somehow infiltrate the law, MCM insists on ignorance of state powers and continues to call for the invasion of foreign forces and permanent interference from the imperial government with statements such as these: “The United States should do much more,” Machado said at a virtual press conference. “Companies must understand that the best thing for them, as well as for Venezuela's creditors, is for the transition to take place as quickly as possible.”
