Brazil's Gremio de Porto Alegre club confirmed the injury of Venezuelan Yeferson Soteldo, after taking the relevant tests.
“After an imaging exam, Soteldo found a grade 3-C injury to the adductor longus muscle of his right thigh,” the club said in a statement.
He also indicated that the Venezuelan player began to complete a period of recovery and is undergoing physiotherapy treatment.
However, the Brazilian team does not specify how long Soteldo will be off the courts.
