CONATEL granted 37 administrative titles to the country's community media

The National Telecommunications Commission (CONATEL), with the objective of guaranteeing and strengthening popular communication in the country, awarded 37 administrative titles to an equal number of community media.
The balance was made by the general director of the governing body of telecommunications, Jorge Márquez, in a publication published by CONATEL, on his account on the social network Instagram.
He explained that, so far, 247 alternative and community media have been regulated, representing 54% of those operating in the country.
In this regard, he highlighted the commitment of the Bolivarian Revolution to popular communicators, whose work has been recognized and vindicated since the arrival of Commander Hugo Chávez.
Márquez congratulated community and alternative media, and maintained their dedication, effort and commitment to the task of bringing the truth to the corners of the Bolivarian nation. “You are the guarantors of making visible the truth of Venezuela,” he said.
On behalf of alternative and community media, Mauro Aular, from the state of Cojedes, thanked the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, for the daily promotion of communes and community media and CONATEL for the support and support provided.
Alternative and community media are part of the communication bastion of the Bolivarian Revolution, so they work to empower the People in this area in the context of the consolidation of the communal State.
