The National Council for People with Disabilities (CONAPDIS), installed a registration point in Plaza O'Lary in Caracas, to serve this population that was affected by the earthquakes of last June 24.
In this regard, the president of this body, Aurelix Salcedo, said that they certify people with disabilities who were affected by this situation.
He indicated that they have a form through a QR code that has made it possible to generate the characterization of people with disabilities and thus be able to generate the response through socio-emotional, psychological help, medical care and the delivery of solidarity aid according to the needs of each person.
He said that this characterization has allowed us to have the specificity of the disabilities that have been most affected.
CONAPDIS works together with other State institutions to support multidisciplinary teams in temporary camps.
