Comuna Despertar del Oonto shows the progress of 3 projects carried out by the People's Power

The head of Government of the Capital District, Nahúm Fernández, presented during a presidential activity the progress of three important projects that have been promoted thanks to citizen participation.

“There are three projects, my president Nicolás Maduro Moros: The first one that won in the consultation was that of 103 houses that have already been completed; the second project consists of the installation of 130 water tanks that are already in place, while the third is related to the supply of domestic gas, in execution,” he said.

In this regard, Fernández stressed that “30010 bottles are being delivered here”, although he also mentioned that “right now the need is 1,45050 bottles” and added that, as a result of the complaint made, 350 more bottles are on the way for the people of the Onoto Awakening.

Fernández stressed that, thanks to the “Concrete Action Agenda” that is being generated within this Self-Government Room, important works have been achieved in the Oonto Awakening Commune, made up of 13 Community Councils and housing 16,860 inhabitants, distributed in 5,190 families.

With these advances, the Oonto Awakening Commune positions itself as an example of community participation and local development in the Venezuelan context.
