Compañía Nacional de Teatro celebrates anniversary with the play “Profound”

To celebrate its 40th anniversary, the National Theater Company (CNT) will present from May 23 to June 9, in the Román Chalbaud Room of the Alberto de Paz y Mateos Theater, its theatrical production Profundo, a piece written by José Ignacio Cabrujas and directed by the Venezuelan actor, Francisco Denis.

The performance can be seen from Thursday to Saturday, starting at 6:00 p.m., and on Sundays, starting at 4:00 p.m. The participation of great and renowned actors such as Aura Rivas, Aníbal Grunn, Francis Rueda, María Brito, Luis Domingo González, Yhannelys Medina and Gerardo Ávila was also announced.

As part of the celebration of their 40th anniversary, they will give pleasant recognition to the workers of the CNT, who, during their long and arduous journey, have provided their knowledge and great skills to build and forge great exponents of Venezuelan theater.

The participants of the play portray the particular Alamo family, who are in search of a treasure that they take for granted in their home. In this search, the only reward received by those who manage to find the loot will be virtue and the liturgy, merits considered as a great achievement in the face of such work.
