Compañía Nacional de Danza premieres “Under This Sky Above My Earth”

The National Dance Company opens its second season of the year with the premiere of the play Under This Heaven Above My Earth, which explores our traditions through dance, play and poetry, and invites the public to connect with their cultural heritage in a spontaneous and contemporary way.
According to information from the Ministry
for Culture, in this proposal the National Dance Company integrates its
two contemporary and traditional casts, merging the languages of both, and
this makes an integrative proposal of our dance languages.
With scenic elements inspired by traditional
events such as San Benito, San Juan, Diablos de Naiguatá and
many others, a bond is created between artists and spectators that transports them to the center of their hearts.
“Under This Sky Under My Earth” is an event that celebrates the richness of Venezuelan culture and invites everyone to be part of this unique experience. The invitation is for the public to join this journey of discovery and connection with our roots.
