The commander of the Bolivarian Military Aviation, M/G Lenín Lorenzo Ramírez Villasmil, assured that this military body always has in mind “our obligation to serve and fulfill the sacred duty to defend the Homeland”.
The statement was made at the El Libertador Air Base, Maracay, Aragua state, where the President of the Republic and the Commander-in-Chief of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), Nicolás Maduro, led the Central Act for the 104th Anniversary of Bolivarian Military Aviation and the 32nd Anniversary of the Heroic Deed of the Civic-Military Rebellion of November 27, 1992.
“It couldn't be a better place to celebrate this day than to do it in the cradle of Bolivarian Military Aviation from the iconic El Libertador Air Base, covered in exploits and glory,” he said.
He stressed that the aforementioned Base “reminds us of the achievements, sacrifices, perseverance and dedication of those who have been part of this noble institution, which serves as an example for us to continue the legacy of our Liberators and of my Supreme and Eternal Commander Hugo Rafael Chávez Frías”.
