It was Wednesday, March 5, 2013, at exactly 4:25 in the afternoon, when one of the most devastating news for the people broke in Venezuela. Commander Hugo Chávez, the man who marked a turning point in the politics of the country, the region and the world, had died.

Upon hearing the regrettable news, the Venezuelan people flooded the streets with dismay; many men and women, who were outside the Military Hospital, where the body of Commander Chávez remained, shed tears and love only for that giant that marked the country's democratic history.

That day, even with pain and deep sadness, the People assumed it as the immortalization of the idea and work of the leader of the Bolivarian Revolution, who multiplied in the heart and actions of each of his followers who today continue their patriotic and revolutionary legacy for the construction of the Socialism of the 21st Century that he always preached.
