Commander Chávez: We must remember the great effort and the immense sacrifice of the Russian and Soviet people

On November 10, 2005, the leader of the Revolution , Hugo Chá vez, from the Miraflores Palace in Caracas, commemorate World War II, in addition to its courage or the efforts of the People of the Russian Federation and the Soviet Union Tico.

“It gave me a century since the end of World War II. We must always remember the great effort and the immense sacrifice that the Russian People, the Soviet People then, the Red Army brought to humanity,” he said.

He also assured that the world will remember forever the image of a Red Army soldier placing the flag there in Berlin "and thus putting an end to Nazi-Fascism, which threatened not only Europe, but the world, in those years and which filled half the 20th century with terror and wars, I therefore pay tribute to this people that you represent, heroic people”.

“The Soviet socialist experience ended as it ended, however very soon, the world realized that the path, the other path, the other path, the one imposed on this continent, by force of aggression, violence, invasions and political, economic and military imperialism, is not the path either, very soon the world realized that capitalism is not the path either, well yes, I say yes, but to hell, the road to hell,” he stressed.
