Commander Chávez: Imperialism uses lackeys like Israel to threaten free peoples

On June 26, 2010, from the Miraflores Palace, the Leader of the Bolivarian Revolution, Hugo Chávez Frías, warned that North American imperialism in its desperation threatens the free peoples of the world using lackeys like Israel.

“Imperialism is a desperate threat, it threatens now as it has been doing for several years with the brutal use of force and also using its lackeys such as Israel, to continue threatening, assaulting the Palestinian people, the Arab peoples and the peoples of the world (...) it is the desperation of the empire, because it feels that it is losing the hegemony it built precisely with the use of weapons, political hegemony, cultural hegemony, economic hegemony, all that set of areas of imperial hegemony,” he said.

He also stated, reminding Mao Tse Tung, that imperialism will continue to weaken and will end up “being a poor paper tiger and us small, but united, great steel tigers to save the world, I repeat, and to build the new world”.
