América de Cali announced the departure of the Venezuelan technical director, César Farías, for the second half of 2024 from the Colombian League.

Through a statement published on its social networks, América Calí thanked the Venezuelan coach and his technical team for their professionalism during this semester.

The board of directors of the Escarlata team made the decision after leaving the club out of the Final Phase of the Apertura Tournament.

At the helm of the Venezuelan, América Cali could not recover from a bad start to the season, falling four points behind the qualifying zone.

In the next few hours, together with the dismissal of Farías, the departure of some players will be confirmed.
