CNU unanimously approved the opening of the discussion process for the formulation of University Law

The National Council of Universities (CNU) unanimously approved the opening of a discussion process for the formulation of a new University Education Act, with the participation of the entire university community.
The Minister of Popular Power for University Education, Ana María Sanjuán, reported that in the coming days the CNU will create the mechanisms to open this participation process. “The objective is to discuss the model that we require for the Venezuelan university of today and in the future,” he said.
Sanjuán extended a wide call to students, teachers, administrative workers and workers to participate in the different commissions. “The idea is that we discuss the law and that by consensus we have a model that we take to the National Assembly,” he said.
