CNE invites international organizations to participate as electoral observers this July 28

The National Electoral Council (CNE) decided, as part of what was established in the schedule for the elections of July 28, 2024, the wide call for electoral observation.
“We inform the people of Venezuela that we have crossed an invitation to participate as electoral observers, provided that they comply with legal requirements and regulations,” announced the president of the CNE, Elvis Amoroso, at a press conference.
In this regard, he specified that some of the invited bodies are the following:
- Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC)
- The BRICS
- Caribbean Community (CARICOM)
- Inter-American Union of Electoral Organizations
- United Nations Panel of Experts
- African Union
- European Union
- Carter Center
In addition, Amoroso indicated that the CNE will continue to report on the development of the Electoral Schedule.
