CNE extends vote in the Popular Consultation until 7 at night due to high turnout

The National Electoral Council (CNE) reported that the Second National Popular Consultation 2026 is taking place with total normality and with high citizen participation, so it was decided to extend the closing of the vote until 7:00 at night, one hour later than planned.
In addition, the CNE guaranteed that the voting centers will remain open after the established time if there are still citizens in the queue, allowing the last person to exercise their right. This measure seeks to ensure full access to participation in the selection of community proposals.
