CNE began the process of admitting candidates for the 2024 Presidential Elections

This Tuesday, April 2, several candidates who registered with the National Electoral Council (CNE) to participate in the 2024 Presidential Elections, scheduled for July 28, confirmed their admission by the electoral body.

In this sense, through their accounts on the social network X, a group of opposition candidates published their admission by the CNE.

Presidential candidate Daniel Ceballos confirmed his admission. “Admitted! I am officially a viable alternative for political change and in peace,” he said.

Luis Eduardo Martínez also reported that he was notified via email that the Democratic Action (AD) application was accepted with the support of the Red Flag, the Republican Movement and the National Electoral Union.

For his part, the candidate for the Popular Democratic Right (DDP), Luis Ratti, announced that “now officially and firmly Venezuela has a new and different option than what is known in the country.”

The CNE, at the time, received the nomination of a total of 13 candidates, who will be measured on July 28 in the presidential elections, and one will be elected as the new President of the Republic.

The president of the CNE, Elvis Amoroso, reported that 37 organizations for political purposes participated during the application process that took place between March 21 and 25.
