CNE and the Ministry of Communes fine-tune details of the 2025 popular consultation schedule

At the headquarters of the Ministry of Popular Power for Communes and Social Movements, this Friday, January 17, a working meeting was held between national authorities and different community organizations, with the purpose of refining the schedule for the National Popular Consultation, which will take place on February 2.

The meeting was led by the vice-president of the National Electoral Council (CNE), Carlos Quintero, and the Minister for the Communes, Ángel Prado, who offered community members the guidelines of the authorities for the above-mentioned popular consultation.

In addition, through videoconference, community members from different states of the country connected to advance the schedule for this great event.

On the other hand, on January 17, the state directors of communes, the directors of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) and authorities of the Electoral Power also met to discuss how the voting process and the Republic Plan will develop.

Recently, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, adjusted for Sunday, February 02, the holding of the first National Popular Consultation of 2025, so that communities can choose their community projects through the vote.
