Authorities the National Electoral Council (CNE) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs held a meeting this Thursday to coordinate actions related to the reception of international companions during the elections on July 28.

The president of the CNE, rector Elvis Amoroso, emphasized that all international organizations that wish to come to the country to observe the operation of our electoral system can do so, as long as they respect our internal regulations.

“We are very happy that they can come here to see the process, always with respect for Venezuelan legal regulations, and then they will be able to issue a pronouncement,” he said, while stressing that before and during the process, the companions will not be able to issue any pronouncement.

On the other hand, the head of the Electoral Power indicated that representatives of the Foreign Ministry will also be given information on everything related to the electoral nomination process and the 28-J elections so that they can inform, in a timely manner, the diplomatic delegations present in the country.

In the same way, Amoroso explained that the doors of the CNE are open so that political organizations, media and even foreign delegations can obtain all the information they need regarding the electoral process.
