Civil Protection inspects homes after earthquakes and they hold seismic forums in Cúa

Civil Protection Teams and the Infrastructure Department of the Rafael Urdaneta municipality deployed a security operation in Cúa and Nueva Cúa, in the state of Miranda.
In this regard, Mayor Jonatan Herrera explained that the work focused on the technical evaluation of buildings and the holding of preventive seismic forums in various communities of the town.
The spaces inspected were: Residencias Central, Condado, Castillo, Italy, El Carmen, Switzerland, Barcelona, Amapola, El Paseo and Argentina. In addition, the Valle Marín, Deleite I and II communities, the Santa Bárbara and Valle Humboldt housing estates, as well as the El Conde and El Conde Colonial sectors were visited.
Through a press release from the Government, it became known that the engineers evaluated the structural conditions of the houses, while the emergency teams gave informative talks on protocols for action in the face of seismic events.
“These actions seek to strengthen preventive culture and guarantee peace of mind for the residents of Urdaneta in the face of recent earthquake activity,” he said
