In the state of Bolívar, it brought together for the first time all the economic sectors of the town to show their logistical benefits at the Expo Faja Ciudad Bolívar 2026, an initiative that shows the city's reach and capacity to serve the Orinoco Oil Belt.

More than 40 stands of different categories remain in the facilities of the Jesús Soto Modern Art Museum to serve as a showcase for the real capabilities of the area.

In the space, renowned economists, lawyers, engineers and gastronomic experts will develop specialized presentations.

This exhibition, which seeks to position Ciudad Bolívar as the strategic capital for the oil development project, has created a comprehensive service route that ranges from the hotel, industrial and commercial sectors to the gastronomic sectors, in order to meet local demand and prepare conditions for new requirements.

The strategic geographical location of Ciudad Bolívar, just 40 minutes from the Faja, is the main advantage for both investors and oil consortiums linked to the extraction of crude oil to consider the Bolivarian capital as their best option.

Petroleum geostructure, local development of the industry, attraction of public and private investment, legal framework and sector challenges are some of the presentations that will be held during the event, which ends this Saturday, October 17.

“With this Expo, we demonstrated the comprehensive capabilities of a city that is not only the country's historic capital, but can also meet the demand of such an important development hub as the Orinoco Oil Belt,” said Wilfredo Carrasco, president of the Bolivar State Chamber of Commerce and Industries.

Carrasco noted that the unification of criteria seeks to build trust in all local economic sectors to continue raising their level of outreach and response.
