CICPC strengthens the fight against microtrafficking and criminal networks with technology

The Scientific,
Criminal and Criminal Investigations Corps (CICPC) coordinated new operational guidelines to combat drug
microtrafficking and dismantle local distribution networks in the national territory.
The working day was held in the Battle Hall of
Carabobo, located at the headquarters of the International Police Directorate, in
Parque Carabobo, Caracas, with the participation of police officers responsible for defining approach and
prevention actions.
The plan contemplates the use of
technical-scientific tools, digital monitoring and social intelligence to detect suspicious packages and
shipments at an early stage, as well as strengthening research efforts against networks dedicated to the
distribution of illicit substances.
With these measures, the CICPC seeks to optimize its operating
procedures and expand actions against microtrafficking in the
country.
