CICPC rescued a stolen baby at the Yaracuy terminal

Members of the Criminal and Criminal Scientific Investigations Corps (CICPC) managed to rescue a two-month-old baby in Yaracuy state.

According to information published in a well-known national newspaper, the rescue was carried out in the La Bandera sector, in the municipality of Peña, Yaritagua, where Magdalis Vargas (25) was captured, after taking the infant.

“The offender had pretended to be pregnant and gained the trust of the victim's mother. When they moved to the Passenger Terminal in the Independencia municipality, the mother asked her to help her carry the infant and in an oversight Magdalis Vargas disappeared, according to the police report,” the media reported.
