Members of the Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigations Corps (CICPC) succeeded in dismantling the criminal gang Los Timadores.

According to information issued by the general director of this body, Douglas Rico, who on his Instagram account, detailed that the detainees were identified as: Luigui Alberto Osechas Rodríguez (35), Darwin Alejandro Mazo (36) and Jhon Jairo Arango Torres (40), members of the criminal gang Los Timadores del Táchira.

Rico explained that those mentioned were arrested by officials of the Guayana City Municipal Delegation, in the El Centro sector, Lisandro Alvarado street, Caroní municipality, San Félix, Bolívar state, for theft.

“Thanks to the technical scientific work carried out by the Cicpc hounds after receiving several complaints, it became known that these criminals had as their modus operandi to approach their victims in the Caroní municipality, they wrapped them up with misleading offers, stripping them through the skills of valuables, from which they obtained an economic benefit by selling them,” he wrote.

In the procedure, “several jewels, four mobile devices, and other valuables belonging to their victims were seized, and a vehicle was collected, which was manned by the antisocials at the time of their arrest”.
