CICPC deploys campaign to prevent crimes committed through digital platforms

From the vicinity of the Tazón toll booth, located in the Hoyo de la Puerta sector in Caracas, the Directorate of Investigation of Vehicle Theft and Theft, together with the Comprehensive Crime Prevention Division, of the Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigations Corps (CICPC), deployed a campaign to inform citizens about the crimes that are committed with the highest incidence through digital media.

This approach is being carried out simultaneously in the national territory, to inform people about the risks to which they are exposed when carrying out transactions through these platforms and thus take precautions against this type of crime, CICPC reported.

The activity was carried out by the general secretariat of this criminal investigation body, C/G Mercy Bracho; accompanied by authorities from the Scientific Police, as well as officials from the Municipal Divisions and Delegations of the Metropolitan Area of Caracas.
