China reiterated its support for the Venezuelan electoral process on July 28

The Government of the People's Republic of China expressed its support for the Venezuelan electoral process scheduled for July 28, 2024.

Through the official X account of the Chinese embassy in Venezuela, Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian said: “we support Venezuela in advancing the presidential election in accordance with its constitution and laws, and we oppose external interference in Venezuelan internal affairs.”

Along the same lines, the Eastern diplomat wished the nation “a quiet and successful presidential election, and we call on the International Community to play a positive and constructive role to that end.”
