A group of students from different educational institutions in the state of Aragua received training in the areas of robotics and programming in an activity organized by the Foundation for the Development of Science and Technology (Fundacite).

The conference, held at the Dr. Clemente Herrera Robotics Center in the state of Aragua, addressed students from the U.E.E Trino Celis Ríos institutions, Saul Albano Moreno Talent School, Liceo Agustín Codazzi and U.E.P Roraima.

At the conference, according to a press release from the Ministry of Science and Technology, young people learned about the components of the Ultimate Robotics Kit 2.0 and its assembly and programming process using the Scratch software, through which they were able to create characters, shapes, animation, among others.

The students also set up a practical laboratory with the protoboard, which is used to assemble circuits and join electronic elements without soldering, a rectangular board with interconnected holes that allows connecting nodes with Dupont cables and activating buses, LEDs, as well as different components.

These activities are part of the National Program of Scientific Seedbeds, an initiative promoted by the National Government to awaken and guide the scientific vocation in girls, boys and young people from an early age.
